El Croquis 140: Álvaro Siza 2001- 2008
21
Aug 2008

The buildings and projects featured in this issue of El Croquis reflect Siza's continuing belief, in his own words, that ‘the limits of a building can be found in the way the relations between exterior and interior are controlled.'

Seventeen projects built over the last eight years, including Maison van Middelem-Dupont, the Multipurpose Pavilion, Gondomar, House in Majorca, Armande Passos House, Anyang Pavilion, and the Museum for the Ibere Carmago Foundation are thoroughly examined in this volume.

All are accompanied by rich, full page colour photographs, sketches, plans, elevations, models
, and introduced by an extensive interview with the architect.
